Manizha Isaar | Board Member

Ms. Isaar is a human right advocate and holds a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Kabul university. She is a member of the Afghanistan Transitional Justice Coordination Group- TJCG and the World Peace Champions. In addition, she was the Afghanistan delegation in the 51 st session of the United Nation Human Rights Council-UNHRC.

Manizha Isaar has extensive professional experience in education and civic sector development. By undertaking several education projects with the UNDP and legal projects with the International Criminal Court, she has got rich experience in promoting education, transitional justice, and victims’ rights which include advocating for victims’ rights in the processes of; prosecution, truth-seeking, reparations, and institutional reform. She is currently working for the Afghan diaspora in Germany and is a Board Member of Bakhtar Institute.

In addition to Farsi and Pashto, Ms. Isaar speaks fluent English and is currently improving her proficiency in German.
