Note:

BI takes the initiative to produce research papers for its audience both in Afghanistan and internationally, focused on the priority areas of its work. These research papers are prepared both in partnership with its affiliate organizations in Germany and Afghanistan. The specific objectives of these papers are:

  1. Produce credible knowledge and evidence-based information on social, political, and economic developments in Afghanistan, as well as Afghan immigrants’ demographic, economic, and social conditions in Germany and Europe;
  2. Produce and disseminate accurate situational and market-based information regarding relevant topics in Afghanistan, and Afghan immigrants’ integration in social, political, and professional spheres in Germany;
  3. Produce up-to-date knowledge on areas of mutual interest in rehabilitation and soft reconstruction for the involved International Community actors in Afghanistan. BI archives above-mentioned research objectives through the following tools and means;
  4. Independent research and survey by the organization and its associates;
  5. Academic cooperation, partnership, and joint research activities with Afghan and non-Afghan organizations in Afghanistan, as well as organizations in Germany and other countries which have a focus on Afghanistan;
  6. Acting as a platform to connect researchers focusing on issues related to Afghanistan or the Afghan Diaspora worldwide;
  7. Provide support and assistance to researchers and academics in Afghanistan, as well as those who are based in Germany and the other countries, but have a focus on Afghanistan and/or the Afghan diaspora;
  8. Increasing the visibility of individual and institutional research that is dedicated to Afghanistan or the Afghan diaspora;
  9. Establishing a database of Afghan Experts, Associations, Research, and Publications that have relevant activities to Afghanistan and/or the Afghan Diaspora.
