Bakhtar Institute is dedicated to presenting specific policy briefs on matters related to Afghanistan and the Afghan diaspora. These policy briefs present evidence-based recommendations for short, medium, and long-term improvements in the social, political, and economic conditions of Afghans, and the areas of rehabilitation and development in Afghanistan. Our policy briefs focus on:
- Presenting realistic policy options and recommendations to promote social and economic integration of the Afghan immigrants into the German society and industry;
- Presenting medium to long-term policy options to the German organizations and institutions, to encourage the social and political participation of the Afghan communities in the national political framework; and to make better use of the knowledge and expertise of the Afghan diaspora
- Presenting short to medium-term policy options and programmatic recommendations for the involved international community’s humanitarian and rehabilitation assistance in the areas of education (school and tertiary), advocacy, political, and socio-economic growth in Afghanistan.
