Advocacy

Bakhtar institute’s management includes women and men activists that have led and managed noticeable women empowerment and human rights programs and projects in Afghanistan, especially in the last 10 years. Our co-founders have hands-on experience, and highly interested, in designing and promoting projects in Afghanistan that tackle social issues such as women’s harassment, violence, abuse, and torture. These management individuals have also represented women and human rights programs and projects at the international level in the past years. Thus, focusing on both Afghanistan and Afghans living in Germany and Europe, the institute is committed and interested in,

  1. Designing, promoting, and implementing women empowerment programs and projects;
  2. Forming alliances with active organizations to facilitate implementation of women and human rights’ advocacy programs; and,
  3. Designing and implementing civil rights awareness campaigns for women and youth.
